The Chancellor has announced today that organisations that secure funding through EU programmes up until the end of 2020 – including the ESF – will be guaranteed by the UK government even in a no deal scenario.
In 2016, the government previously committed to protect projects that secured funding before exit day. The announcement today means successful bids for EU funding until the end of 2020 will receive their full financial allocation and will continue to receive funding over the project’s lifetime. This provides much needed certainty for those delivering ESF and other EU funded projects.
